Howard Fischer (B.A., Yale, 1988; J.D., Columbia Law School, 1992), is a partner at the firm of Moses, Singer. He has extensive experience in trying complex financial disputes. As a former Senior Trial Counsel at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), he was entrusted with some of the most sophisticated and noteworthy cases that the federal government prosecuted in the last decade. Howard is recognized as a leading expert on securities disputes, enforcement proceedings, and securities regulations, including related to digital assets. He publishes frequently and his articles can be found in Barron’s, The Financial Times, Bloomberg Law, ThomsonReuters, Law360, and other sources as well. Previously, Howard was an associate in the litigation departments of Debevoise & Plimpton and Rosenman & Colin. He had also been a federal law clerk to Judge Constance Baker Motley, in the District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Anthony Ivany (B.S., College of Staten Island, 2018; J.D., New York Law School, 2021) is an Associate at Hoffman Roth & Matlin, LLP. At New York Law School, Anthony was a recipient of the Global Fellow Scholar Award (Full Tuition Merit Scholarship). Anthony is experienced in various areas of the law, such as: Estate Planning, Estate Probate, Real Estate, Financial Law, and Medical Malpractice. He has interned at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Economic Crimes Bureau, as well as serving as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Alison M. Hamanjian of the Richmond County Family Court. In his free time, he gives back to the community by volunteering as a football coach at a local high school. Anthony is admitted in New York and New Jersey.
